I recently purchased this steamer and am very happy with it. It does a great job of taking wrinkles out of clothing. Most hand steamers do, so it just comes down to whether or not they perform as designed and what features and bells and whistles they come with. This item definitely produced enough steam to be able to effectively steam small items of clothing. Whether it removes the wrinkles probably depends on the type of material the clothing is made of. I believe that it is generally accepted that some materials relax in the presence of steam and lose at least some of their wrinkles. For those materials this is a useful addition to the home.
