I bought this hand mixer for my wife. She made fun of me for it when it first arrived — I tend to buy a lot of kitchen toys, which I also enjoy using. Cuisinart continues it’s reputation for quality and value, with this mixer. It’s significantly more quiet than our old mixer, and very easy to use and handle. I guess you really don’t need 7 speeds, but it is nice to start out slowly and then speed up. We got what we expected.
