Breville Toaster – Breville Die-Cast Smart Toaster

Product review of breville toaster.

Ever get frustrated trying to make a simple piece of toast? Maybe the bread comes out too dark. Or maybe the bagel just doesn’t fit. With the Breville Die-Cast Smart Toaster, uneven, unsatisfactory toasting is a thing of the past. Two outstanding features are at the heart of this Breville Toaster. First is the auto lift and look feature. Much like it sounds, this lets you get a look at the progress of your bread or bagel without interrupting the toasting cycle which means no need to cancel or reset the cycle. The next nifty feature is the “a bit more” setting. If your toast needs, well, a bit more time in the slots, then this feature is for you.

With two slots for toasting, this 900 watt unit also features a one-touch, auto lowering function and push button control settings for the above two functions as well as for bagels, defrosting, reheating and toast. A LED panel is also featured, as is the end-of-cycle beep. The positive reviews outweighed the negative reviews on Amazon. Those negative reviews did have one common theme: that the toaster did not brown on both sides. Positive reviews stated exactly the opposite.

Customer reviews are a great way to research a product and find out if it truly delivers. Here are a few owner comments from Breville Die Cast Smart Toaster reviews.

This is a great toaster. I’ve been researching toasters for almost a year and had been spoiled by my 20 year old, self-lowering Sunbeam toaster. I tried the Braun 600 several months ago, but it performed poorly and was immediately returned. This Breville 2 slice Smart Die-Cast Toaster is wonderful. It’s features are actually quite simple and not over-the-top with useless functions no one would ever use.

I’ve had this toaster six months and use it at least 2-3 times a week. I get perfect toast, golden brown from top to bottom, side to side, on both sides. It’s pricey, but I think it will last a long time. I like the safety of the grounded plug and it has nice extras, like the ‘bagel’ setting, which only toasts one side. The automatic up/down function is neat, as well as the LED lights showing how far along the toasting cycle is.
