Do you desire your expresso’s to taste even better since they stay hotter and for longer periods of time? What about not burning your hands while sipping down your caffeinated rocket fuel for the day? Bodum has mouth-blown, lightweight, yet durable borosilicate expresso glasses that are living up to the hype. The glasses themselves have a simple yet elegant style that even your jaded, yet friendly coffee or expresso drinking company will greatly appreciated. Plus they’re a great conversation piece and yet just another product that keeps you trendy. The key to why the outside glass never gets heated is because these espresso glasses are double walled.
This means the inside glass contains the heat, while the outside glass allows you to hold the glass. The glasses do have a hole in the outside bottom with a silicon plug to allow the pressure inside the expresso thermo glass to equalize with the outside atmosphere. It’s a nifty feature that enhances the thermo glass safety. If upon rising, your brain and body alert you to the need for caffeine, then these cost effective and durable expresso glasses would make you a happy early morning riser indeed.

Customer reviews are a great way to research a product and find out if it truly delivers. Here are a few reviews from owners of the Bodum Pavina 2-Ounce Double-Wall Thermo Glasses.
I haven’t anything new to add, other than my voice to the rising chorus of praise for these glasses! I know some think it is odd to drink espresso in clear glasses, but actually it is very aesthetically pleasing, especially if your crema is thick and frothy! But of course, the best part of these glasses is how hot it keeps your espresso. Me, I just have one shot black and because this is a small amount of liquid, in the average sort of glass it cools quickly. These glasses give me time to pause, rather than having to slam my espresso back immediately like a frat boy with some Jägermeister. I say, buy ‘em!
As far as these glasses go they are pretty much great in all aspects. They do the job, and they do it well. They also look great while doing their job. Some reviewers on here complained that the glasses were not build well or that they were too fragile, I have not found this to be true at all. Of course if you’re washing the glass in the sink, and you drop it, it might break/crack, but that’s just how glass products are. If you want unbreakable, buy plastic products. I generally use the glasses for expresso shots with my Nespresso Cube Coffee machine, and if I have to find one thing to fault the product (for me) on, I’d have to say that it’s when I am pouring the shot of coffee into a larger glass, as it’ll usually spill/drip down the side a little because the glasses do not have even the slightest lip around the top/rim.
